Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ½ cup wheat germ
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
Wet Ingredients
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup plain Greek Yogurt
- 3 mashed bananas
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F and grease a 9-inch by 5-inch (23 cm by 13 cm) loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix all the dry ingredients. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together brown sugar, vegetable oil, and the eggs.
- Add yogurt and mashed bananas to the wet ingredients.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until the mixture is homogeneous but not overmixed.
- Pour the batter into the loaf pan.
- Bake in the oven for approximately 40 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the banana bread comes out clean.
